Laces has grown from a foundation of evidence based, client-centred research, developed by the founder and also drawn from a wide research base. This has enabled it to develop into a professional, proactive and flexible support service.Our specialism is working with LOSS in its broadest sense.
Our expert knowledge on this subject is derived from years of previous experience developing services at The Maypole Project, a centre of excellence providing psychosocial support to families affected by chronic illnesses/disabilities, as well as associated professionals. The principal practitioner also has extensive experience in service developments, professional reviews, gained whilst working as a consultant to UK and international services. It is through these works that the principal practitioner identified the need for professional support training programmes.
